Soul Circles are intimate, two-hour experiences led by Kiana Ng that bring together mindfulness, self-inquiry, and pole-based movement.
They’re an invitation to use pole as a tool for connection, exploration, expression, and personal growth—alongside a community of dancers on their own journeys.
Soul Circles are inspired by the work we do on our retreats: creating space to turn inward through meditation, journaling, and reflection, then bringing what we discover into the way we move on the pole.
The Flow
[Arrival + Opening Circle]
An introduction to the theme and space to arrive together.
[Meditation]
A guided practice to connect to the body and explore the theme.
[Journaling + Self-Inquiry]
Journal prompts to deepen your reflection on the circle’s theme.
[Warm-Up, Conditioning + Flow]
Prepare the body and integrate the workshop theme through intentional movement and pole flow.
[Pole Dance]
The main portion of the workshop. Each circle will vary according to its theme, with potential exploration through tricks, choreography, and more.
[Closing Circle]
An opportunity to reflect, connect, and optionally share with the group.
Level: Open to all levels with some experience dancing in heels. Participants should be comfortable with pole climb, sit, and jasmine.
“The way fEMBODY created a safe environment to be able to connect deeply and openly with myself as well as the other attendees has fostered a new level of healing and growth within me.”
– Ash B.
