fEMBODY Showcase

I can’t thank you enough for this opportunity! You’ve really helped guide me into a whole other version of myself. Being a part of this amazing community you picked has been such a blessing. From making new connections to simply having the opportunity to be a part of something. To be seen, heard and appreciated. It’s a feeling I did not know could be experienced at this altitude. I’m also very grateful for all the feedback provided by you and the mentors! I plan to implement all of it and hopefully one day bring it to another fEMBODY stage 😉

Thank you for creating the opportunity for those of us newer in our pole journey to be able to perform on a public stage! I really valued the chance to be part of the Showcase with such a strong lineup of incredible performers. It was a real honour to be given the chance to take up space and have someone believe in you and such amazing mentors offering feedback on our choreo. It was meaningful to feel the support of the audience and be part of such a special night.

The fEMBODY showcase for new and emerging dancers was the best experience I could’ve asked for my first real performance stage. The mentors were kind, responsive, and gave incredible in-depth timestamped feedback as well as ideas for improving our dancing. The best part of the showcase was working alongside the other dancers, who were supportive and whose friendships I will continue to value going forward! As a Disabled individual with an anxiety disorder, I often don’t feel considered/represented in pole spaces and struggle to try new things – but the fEMBODY environment felt non-judgemental while still pushing me to perform at my absolute best. I would absolutely be involved if given the opportunity again, and think anybody considering being a part of a fEMBODY event should go for it!

Performing with fEMBODY was a deeply transformative experience for me. I arrived carrying nerves and the fear of being seen, but once I arrived I began to feel excitement for the first time alongside the nerves. I felt held in a safe and intentional container that Kiana created which allowed me to work through the anxiety. The communication was clear and professional, but beyond that, there was an energetic layer of protection and purpose that allowed me to be vulnerable and express myself fully. The group of performers she curated genuinely uplifted one another, and having Trelyn as host added an extra sense of comfort and grounding. The audience’s energy was unforgettable. Smiling, cheering, hyping, and fully present. It truly felt like they were witnessing and celebrating my liberation on stage. The tipping culture was great and so fun. For me, this performance was about healing, growth, empowerment, and allowing myself to be fully seen. I would wholeheartedly recommend fEMBODY to anyone seeking a supportive, community-based space to express sensuality in a way that feels safe, intentional, and profoundly empowering.

It was mind blowing watching so many different performers showcasing their incredible skills, I was in awe!! It was also an amazing opportunity to connect with so many new people within the community which was definitely a highlight. I’m so excited for future shows, parties, and events to have more nights like this!!
